Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of Good Corporate Governance more so in recent times when the community is holding companies to account for not being “socially responsible”.

As part of its policy Exim recognizes the need to engage the community in areas where it can generate the greatest value to them and so contribute to national development. In line with this Exim’s CSR objectives are to affect the lives of citizens and spur sustainable economic development in communities where it operates.

The Company’s CSR policy shall focus on providing support to institutions, programmes, and general social and economic activities that support the poor, vulnerable and needy in Society.

Focus Areas: Social, Economic, Educational, Health, Environmental and other general humane causes worthy of support.
